Tristyn Purcell has been singing since she was in 5th grade where she auditioned for her first choir and has remained in extra curricular and in-school choirs through college. She participated in all 6 years of her middle and high school's regional Solo Ensemble competition and received a superior rating each year including her senior year where she received "Outstanding Performer" for McKinney North High School and was also nominated "MNHS Choir President".
While working and developing her vocals, she discovered a love for piano and guitar. When receiving her Associates degree in Music, Tristyn participated in a capella competitions that took her to Arizona for ICCA quarterfinals. She was also given the opportunity to sing chorus for Sarah Brightman during her 2019 Hymn Concert at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas, TX. Since 2018, her career has been filled with teaching group lessons, summer camps, private lessons, a year and a half of managing private lesson studios, and since 2021, establishing Miss Tristyn's Music School.
Most importantly, Tristyn loves sharing her knowledge of music with others. She takes pride in helping shape her students into great performers and musicians.
